The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
As the economy takes a down turn people are trying to save money however they can. This includes tearing up the grass and putting in a home garden. More and more people are gardening to not only pass the time but also to save some money. Putting in a garden is fairly easy, but there are a couple of different methods that are worth considering because of the ease and increased yield on food you can get. If you have a small garden, and you only have hand tools to work with, then you may wish to consider square foot gardening. Square Food Gardening, created by Mel Bartholomew is style of gardening many others have adopted. The amazing thing is the amount of food you can get from a four by four foot area. The idea behind square foot gardening is that it eliminates the need to have a rototiller or other specialized equipment. A shovel and a rake is about all you need for the basic garden bed. This can be made even simpler by create raised beds and then adding your soil. Square foot gardening helps you to save seed and water, whcih are the principles at the core of this practice. This way you plant one seed a time instead of planting tons of seeds and having to thin them later. You can save your seeds year to year by storing them in a cold dry location. If you have a larger garden and have a rototiller then consider wide row gardening. This in some ways is opposite from square foot gardening. This gardening philosphoy has you over plant your garden in wide rows in order to drown out the weeds. This saves you time and energy you would have to expend weeding. You can achieve a large yield from wide row gardening because you thin them as you eat. When carrots and onions start to get too dense, you pick them and eat them. This food when younger is very rich in flavor and incredibly enjoyable. Nothing is going to waste. The Joy Of Gardening by Dick Raymond is a great book to learn more about this style. By learning from experts you can help avoid pitfalls that you commonly run into as a first time gardener.

How To Decompress After A Stressful Ordeal
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Regardless of your "job description" or "life description," there will be times when you end up feeling stressed or overwhelmed - after all, everyone deals with stress from time to time, and the primary issue, when it comes to stress, is not whether you deal with it, but what you do afterward. When you get stressed, it can end up setting you back for several days if you do not take care of the problem; in order to overcome the negative effects of stress, you need to learn how to decompress. The first step of decompressing after stress is going to a place where you can be alone; do not just go to "any place," however - you should have a place that is a "safe" place for you (whether in your room, in your yard, in your car, or somewhere away from home), and this is the place you should turn to when you need to decompress. The best way to decompress is usually by surrounding yourself with silence, but many people find that music helps them as well; choose a "decompression" song (or "decompression" songs) that you can listen to whenever the need arises. This should be a song that causes you to relax, rather than one that causes you to get more excited or tense! You also need to pay attention to your breathing as you escape to your decompression place to enjoy your silence or music; you will notice, if you pay attention, that your heart rate and your breathing will be sped up when you are stressed, but you can counter these by focusing on your breathing and making sure you are taking deep, full breaths. While you cannot always control the external factors that cause you to feel stressed, you can control the way in which you react to this stress, and when you learn to take the proper "decompression steps," you will put yourself in much better shape for overcoming stress every time it arises.

Knowing The Best Places For Shopping For Outdoor Wear
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
If you like to spend time outdoors (or even if you do not especially like to spend time outdoors, but you are going to soon find yourself outdoors for a camping, backpacking, or skiing trip - or for any similar sort of trip!), it will be good for you to have "performance" wear that will help you to make the most of your time out there - but if you do not shop for outdoor wear very often, you may not know where the best places are to go, and this is certainly useful information to have before you start spending your money. When it comes to picking up outdoor wear, one of the first places people will look toward is the big chain stores such as Sun & Ski and REI; shopping at these stores gives you a lot of benefits - namely, the large selection they provide, and the opportunity they give you to see lots of different options in person - but you should also realize that you are likely to end up spending more money at a place like this than you would at other places, and the staff may not always be the most knowledgeable. Smaller, locally-owned outdoors shops will be the best place to find a knowledgable staff, as these places are far more likely to make sure they are only hiring people who are experts in the things they are selling; of course, you are still likely to run into higher prices here, and you will have a limited selection - compared to what you will find at the big chain stores - because these stores tend to have limited space. The best place to go if you are looking for a large selection, and the best place to go when it comes to price, is the Internet - and actually (though you may not have realized it!), Amazon is the best place of all for price and selection on outdoor wear; but of course, you will lose out on customer service when shopping online, so make sure you know exactly what you are looking for. Keep these places in mind when you are needing to pick up some outdoor wear, and figure out which option is the best for you so that you can find everything you need to make the most of your trip!

Exploring Things To Bring When Backpacking Overnight
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
People often get the urge that they want to go "backpacking," and think that this is really no different from camping, but even though there are a lot of similarities between backpacking and camping (even a lot of close similarities between the two!), there are also a lot of significant differences, and if you are going to go on an overnight backpacking trip, there are a few things you will want to keep in mind. First of all, realize that food (of course!) will be an important part of your journey, and while you can pack up a cooler and toss it in your car if you are going camping, things will be a bit more complicated if you are going backpacking; bring food that will not spoil (such as frozen bratwursts, which will keep for a couple days), food that will give you energy (such as nuts, seeds, and berries, which you can often find together in a packaged trail mix), and food that is lightweight! A lot of people also make the mistake of assuming they will have no problem lighting a fire when they are backpacking, thinking that the bevy of firewood will make their fire-lighting easy, but realize that you will often be dealing with moist wood and tinder when you are out in nature, so bring some tinder with you before you hit the trail; the best way to do this is to collect some dry grass, leaves, and even twigs about a week before you leave for your trip, and put this in a baggie that you can keep in your pack. And realize that when you go backpacking, you are not going to be coming across any bathrooms for a couple days, which will leave you with no choice but to go to the bathroom right there in the woods, but even though you will have to go in the woods, this does not mean that you have no choice but leaves when you finish; rather, bring a roll of toilet paper with you when you are going on a backpacking trip, as you will surely be happy that you had the foresight to do so! A backpacking adventure can be a lot of fun - but it is certainly a whole lot more fun when you bring the right things with you, so keep these tips in mind, and make your overnight backpacking trip a success!

Tips For Knowing What To Read
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Let's face it - when you spend good money on a book, take the time to read it, and find that you hate the book, it can be pretty frustrating! In fact, many people run into the same problem with movies; but a movie ticket or DVD rental costs less than a hardcover book, and a movie is much shorter! The biggest problem is, quite frankly, everyone has very different tastes, so it is difficult to know you will like a book just because lots of others like it! In order to pick up good books with more regularity, you need to become educated. By "becoming educated," it means that it is important for you to know what your tastes are; and then, you need to know how to find books that are similar to your tastes. Rating the books you have read is the most important step to understanding what you like to read; and if you use a five-star system to rate your books, you can easily transfer these ratings online. You can then start to get suggestions for new books by taking these ratings and plugging them into Amazon, and by signing up for Goodreads and doing the same thing on there. This will go a long way in helping you to find books you will actually like, even if rating these books just seems like "something extra to do." Once you sign up for Goodreads, you should also begin to pay attention to others who have given high ratings to books that you liked yourself. Once you start finding people who like the books you like, look at their other books and see if your tastes are still consistent with theirs. In this way, you can make new friends on Goodreads who have tastes similar to yours, but who have read books that you have maybe not read yourself! You will begin to find suggestions that are perfect for you as soon as you begin to rate the books you have read and transfer these ratings to Goodreads and Amazon. And best of all, these suggestions will become more and more accurate the longer you are using these sites!

Tips For Keeping Up With Your Responsibilities
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
The thought of "keeping up with responsibilities" entails things in only one area for many people - such as their personal life, or their domestic responsibilities, or their responsibilities at work - and because they pay attention to only one area (or, at the most, two areas!) of responsibilities, they end up neglecting responsibilities in other areas of their life, but while these other responsibilities may not be as immediately pressing as the ones these people are keeping up with, they are still important, and it is for this reason that it is important to know how to keep up with all the responsibilities in your life. People used to usually use a dayplanner in order to keep up with all their responsibilities, but dayplanners are typically considered to be "outdated" these days; instead of dayplanners, most people use either their computer or a calendar on their cell phone. If you have have several areas of your life in which you are needing to keep up with responsibilities, and you are using the calendar on your computer or on your smart phone to keep up with them, make sure you are separating these responsibilities into different categories and priorities; as you take the time to truly get to know your calendar and your organizational system, rather than pouring all your responsibilities into the calendar in a hodgepodge manner, you will be able to keep up with all of them in a much more fluid manner. Another great way to keep up with your responsibilities is by using index cards; if you keep a stack of index cards for each separate category of responsibilities, you can stack them based on priority, and can then easily attack them as time allows. And probably the most important thing of all when it comes to keeping up with responsibilities is that you actually make the time and effort to keep up with them; no matter how organized you are, it will do you no good if you are not keeping up with them, so come up with a system of motivation to take care of the things you are supposed to take care of, and you will see your desired results!

Tips For Traveling Europe Inexpensively
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Many people dream of taking a European vacation, but a European vacation can also end up being so expensive that it takes you years of planning and waiting before you are able to take this vacation. On the other hand, there are plenty of things you can do in order to take a European vacation for a lot less money, and some of the most important of these tips and tricks are detailed below! Travel smart: If you are like most people taking a European vacation, you will probably be wanting to see a number of different places, and in order to see all these different places in the most effective (and most inexpensive) manner, you need to plan your travel in advance. Rather than using online travel agencies such as Expedia and Orbitz - websites that pull information from only the major airlines - do some research on your own to find airfare for smaller European airlines, and compare the prices of airfare from place to place in Europe to the cost of taking a train. Lodge smart: Another way to save a lot of money is to stay the night in hostels during your trip, instead of in hotels; there are hostels all throughout Europe, and once you do a bit of research on the hostels in the areas in which you will be staying, you will find that many of them charge as little as 10 Euros per night! Eat smart: You will certainly want to indulge in some European cuisine while you are overseas, but do not plan to eat out every meal, as this will put a huge dent in your budget; instead, shop at local grocery stores, and use the common kitchens at the hostels to prepare sandwiches and snacks you can bring with you for the day! Of course, you might dream of someday taking a lavish European vacation as well - with gourmet dinners and luxury accommodations - but there is no reason to wait until this dream becomes a reality before you allow yourself to take a trip to Europe!

Taking A Look At Great Places To Get Away On Your Own
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
For introverts and extroverts alike, you will sometimes find that you simply need to get away on your own; of course, introverts deal with this all the time, as being alone is how they “charge their batteries” – but even for extroverts, it is sometimes nice to simply get away. "Getting away" can usually be as simple as just hopping in your car and going for a drive, or as closing yourself in a room in your house with a warm drink and a book, but other times you need to do a lot more in order to get away, as you sometimes need a full couple days completely to yourself. One of the best places to go if you are wanting to get away is a cabin in the mountains; the great thing about a cabin in the mountains is that you can not only get away from people you know, but you can also get away from people altogether – immersing yourself in nature, and enjoying a day or two of absolute silence. Other people find that they enjoy getting away in a more open setting, and for these people the beach is an excellent option; if you live near the beach, you can either spend a day at the beach or a couple days, and you can either find a public beach or a beach with hardly anyone on it at all. And being all alone in a big crowd of people is what some people find is the best way of all for them to get away; for these people, spending a day or two in the city is the best way to have some time alone – walking around, enjoying the sights, and being able to do absolutely whatever they want. Keep these ideas in mind if you ever find yourself simply needing to get away for a day or two, and they will help you find the "getaway approach" that is best for you – helping you to recharge your batteries before jumping back into life!

Knowing Things To Bring Camping With You That You Might Not Think About
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
There will be plenty of things that you will have on your list as “necessary” items if you are going to be taking a camping trip soon, but in spite of the fact that you might spend plenty of time making sure you are not overlooking anything, it is still easy to end up overlooking a number of things! If you have ever been in a situation where you had to deal with this problem - regardless of whether it was with camping or with a different sort of trip - here are a few things for you to keep in mind as far as items that are important to bring with you on a camping trip, and are easy to accidentally overlook. Tinder: There are a lot of people who go camping and think that finding tinder will not be any problem at all, but they end up in a position where all the tinder around is wet, or is otherwise no good for starting a fire; when you go camping, you should bring your own baggie of dry tinder with you, as this will ensure that you are always ready to start a fire. Baby powder: Your toothbrush and your soap will probably be difficult for you to forget, but many people do not think to bring baby powder; when you go camping, however, you can end up doing quite a bit of walking, and baby powder is great to use in your shoes and even against your skin to keep chafing from occurring. Backups: You might think you have everything you are going to need in the way of batteries, undergarments, clothes, et cetera, but you should always bring backups when you have enough room; after all, you never know when you will run out of something unexpectedly on a trip, and it is better to be over-prepared than to realize you are underprepared! Add these things to your packing list when you are going camping, and you will be far less likely to find yourself in a position where you are lamenting the fact that you did not pack everything you needed for your trip.

Eliminating Bugs from Your Summer
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Most people enjoy spending a portion of their day outside once the weather warms up. Grilling and relaxing outside is one of the nicest things to do during the summer at night time. The only consistent thing that usually detracts from this type of evening is insects. The night can be beautiful, but having to worry about mosquitoes and other bugs is a nuisance. Keeping these bugs away is hard to do and there is only one good way to do it. Most people choose to use an insect repellant to keep bug out of their evening. The spray needs to be applied to clothes and skin. It usually has a foul odor to it and isn’t as effective at repelling bugs as most would like. Another method to try is the insect repellant torch method. Many people swear by the effectiveness of the torches. However in reality it does a rather poor job. A screen house is the only one hundred percent effective way to make sure your evening is insect free. To escape the insect assault a screen house can be placed on your patio, deck, or in your yard somewhere. Swiss gear makes a great screen house that is ten feet by ten feet. This is the perfect size for most people’s backyards. It isn't so large that there is no place to put it and is just the right size for everyone to enjoy. The screen house structure is rather easy to set up. It can be taken down as quickly as it is set up; the whole process only takes a couple minutes. It is easily transported since the steel frame is hollow on the inside. The frame is also strong enough to stand up to some rather strong wind. The screen and canopy fit over the frame. The roof is water repellant and made to keep any precipitation out of your party. Protection from the elements as well as insects will be afforded with the swiss gear screen house. It can be left up in your backyard all summer or brought to the park for a party. So don’t spend this entire summer fighting of annoying bugs and wrapping up parties early because of rain. Spend your summer time inside the protection of a swiss gear screen house. Swiss Gear Smart Shade Screen House

Taking A Look At Things To Do At Night On A Beach Vacation
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
If you are going to be going on a beach vacation this summer, you are probably already looking forward to all the things you will do during the day while you are on this vacation, but one thing you might not have thought about is what you will do at night. When it comes to a beach vacation, most people tend to immediately think of swimming in the ocean and soaking up rays of sunlight, they often forget to pay attention to the fact that a large chunk of the day will also be night, and because of this, you will be able to make your beach vacation a whole lot more fun if you also have things planned for the nighttime!
Of course, having a bonfire on the beach at night is one of the best things you can do; if you are going to be doing a bonfire, make sure you have food that you can cook over the fire and marshmallows that you can roast, and you should also consider playing some games by the light of the bonfire. Another great idea for nighttime during a beach vacation is a trip to the nearest town or city; because a beach vacation will take you away from society for a few blissful days, it can be a lot of fun to take a night in a nearby town or city, going to dinner and shopping and even just walking around before you return to your beautiful serenity once again. And while most beach vacations include a few nights of simply sitting around the beach house, planning things to do while sitting around will also be fun; bring some board games or card games that everyone enjoys, or bring a stack of DVDs that all of you can watch together at night. Even if your nights are not planned out at all, you will still be able to have a wonderful beach vacation - but when you make sure you are making the most of your nights as well as your days, your beach vacation will be that much more fun and enjoyable!

Planning An Outdoor Wedding
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
As anyone who has ever planned a wedding of their own can tell you, you do not simply show up to this day - one of the most important days of your life - and find that everything automatically goes perfectly. You must first plan a whole lot for your wedding, and in order for the wedding to be perfect, the planning must also be perfect! One idea that particularly appeals to the romantic desires of a bride is an outdoor wedding, which can be a beautiful wedding indeed. But before your outdoor wedding can be all you want it to be, you need to know the important things to make sure you plan for. These are aspects of outdoor weddings that many people overlook, and that can lead to big disappointments when the wedding day comes. When planning an outdoor wedding, the weather is the biggest consideration; even though you cannot know so far in advance what the weather will be, you can certainly guess closely. The Old Farmers Almanac, which is always surprisingly accurate, is one great resource for helping you guess the weather far in advance. Another thing to keep in mind is the relative heat or cold you are likely to deal with at the time of year and time of day when your wedding will be! For anyone planning their outdoor wedding for the spring, summer, or fall, bugs are also a big consideration. Your guests will be endlessly uncomfortable if your wedding is swarming with bugs, and even though it is not difficult to take measures against this, many people forget! Sufficient parking for your guests is also important if you are going to plan to have an outdoor wedding. Your parking options are likely going to include grass or dirt for an outside wedding, so make sure all necessary precautions are taken to ensure no one gets stuck, and everyone has a place to park. Planning a wedding can be lots of fun, but it can also be easy to overlook the small details that can make or break a wedding. If you are planning an outdoor wedding, make sure you pay attention to these details, and in this way you can ensure a wedding that is as flawless as your planning!

Taking A Look At The Movie Capote
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
If you are a fan of literature, or if you are a fan of great movies, or if you are simply interested in watching as many different movies as you can, the movie Capote is an especially great one for you to add to your "to watch" list. In November of of 1959 (both in real life, and in the movie), a brutal, seemingly inexplicable quadruple murder took place in an otherwise unremarkable town in Kansas, and Truman Capote (who at the time was one of the most well-known writers in America, having published Breakfast at Tiffanys and become friends with every significant celebrity of the time) decided to travel to the town in order to write a story for The New Yorker about the killings and the effect they had on the town. A short time after Capote arrived in the town, however (along with Harper Lee - who Capote had grown up with, and who would soon publish the enduring classic To Kill A Mockingbird), he realized that the story deserved to be more than a blip in The New Yorker; it deserved to be a book. The movie Capote follows the author (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman - who won a Best Actor Oscar for playing the enigmatic Capote) as he explores the town and explores the story, with the story especially escalating as the killers are caught, and as Capote forms a close bond with one of the two men who killed that innocent and unarmed family in the small town in Kansas. This movie is certainly remarkable for its story alone - which, in itself, is a masterful depiction of the writing of one of the most significant works in the history of American literature - but also, this movie is remarkable for the cinematography, the directing, and most of all the acting. Even if you are not a fan of literature, you will surely enjoy watching Philip Seymour Hoffman control the screen in an incredibly demanding role; and of course, if you are a fan of literature, you will love watching Capote to see the story of the writing of In Cold Blood - one of the most important works of literature to ever come out of the American landscape.

Improving Your Golf Game
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Many people enjoy golf because it is a fun, relaxing way to exercise and to spend the day enjoying the outdoors. But for a competitive person, golf can also be stressful if you go out there time and again and are unhappy with the way you are playing! In order to improve your golf game, there are a few simple things for you to do. If you start to do these things regularly, you will see your golf game improve remarkably, and you will actually be able to enjoy yourself on the course! As is the case with most areas in life, the saying "practice makes perfect" holds true for golf. But even though practice makes perfect, it will not make perfect sense for you to try to go out and play a round of golf every day, as most people do not have that kind of time! This is why the driving range is an excellent tool for anyone wanting to improve their golf game. While a regular round of golf gives you 18 tee shots - not much in the way of practice - an afternoon at the driving range will give you a couple hundred tee shots! You can also practice your putting on practice greens at most driving ranges or golf courses. After your afternoon working on your drives and chip shots at the driving range (or, before you go out on the course for a round) you should also practice your short game. If you are stressed while on the golf course, your game will continue to suffer; so, as funny as it might sound, you need to practice mentally as well. Before you go out on the course, remind yourself that you are going out there to have fun; the more you keep this in mind, the more your game will remain steady! Even though you might never be a professional golfer, it is still nice when you can go out there and feel good about the day you are having on the course. If you take the time to practice and improve on your golf game, you will be able to go out there and have a solid round of play over and over again.

Knowing Whether An Orbiculate Batfish Is Right For Your Saltwater Aquarium
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
One of the most interesting fish for saltwater enthusiasts is the orbiculate batfish, which can be an excellent addition to your saltwater aquarium. At the same time, however, the orbiculate batfish can be a horrible addition to your saltwater aquarium; this is why it is important to always know whether a fish is good for you! When people buy the orbiculate batfish as a juvenile, they often neglect to realize two important things. The first thing they fail to realize is that the colors and even the shape of this fish will change as it gets older. And the second thing they fail to realize is that this fish grows to be quite large - as tall as 20 inches high! You need to make sure you have a tank large enough to accommodate its size if you want to add an orbiculate batfish to your tank. Of course, it is also important to note that the orbiculate batfish is not a reef safe fish, and most tanks large enough to accommodate them are reef tanks. They will eat smaller fish and crustaceans, and they will also tend to eat or otherwise destroy anemones and coral in your tank! If you still feel that the orbiculate batfish might be a good match for your fish tank, you should know that you should keep them with other large fish. But also, they should not be kept with any fish that are overly aggressive, as they are unlikely to thrive in such an environment. The orbiculate batfish is a hardy fish, and is relatively easy to take care of; the pH should be kept between 8.1 and 8.4 for the orbiculate batfish, which is pretty standard, but they also require water that is between 72 and 78 degrees, which might be cooler than what your other fish need. Before you ever buy any fish, you want to make sure you do as much research as possible, making sure that they are a good match for you. But if you decide you want an orbiculate batfish, it just might be a good fit for you, as long as your tank is at least 180 gallons and 6 feet high!

Tips For Keeping Your Kids Calm In A Thunderstorm
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Now that thunderstorm season has arrived, it will not be unlikely for you to find that your young children become overly dramatic when one of these thunderstorms hit – using the maximum potential of their screams, and even hiding and crying because of the peals of thunder – and while you can tolerate this for a while (while it might even be cute for about a minute!), you will eventually want to make sure you know how to keep your children calm in a thunderstorm. After all, kids who are crying, hiding, and screaming are only cute for a limited amount of time – and in the long run, you will come to dread thunderstorms a whole lot less if your children learn how to act perfectly normal during them! Assure your children: You will only further encourage them to act out when a thunderstorm hits if you react to their excitement and "fright" by getting upset; instead of doing this, you should aim to assure your children that everything is fine, explaining to them that there is nothing the thunderstorm can do to hurt them. Model the right behavior: This will be a big part of getting your children to act calmly during a thunderstorm, as children have a tendency to model the behavior they see from their parents; make sure you are calm when a storm is hitting, and it will not be long before you come to realize that your children are acting the exact same way themselves. Have fun: While some parents tend to model negative behavior for their children during storms – exaggerating the danger of they are in, and causing their children to act the same way – other parents treat storms as something that is full of fun and adventure, coming up with games and other memorable events that turn storms into something exciting (something their kids remember having fun with!) instead of something frightening. It is very easy to raise your children so that they enjoy thunderstorms – instead of so that they are frightened (and quickly annoying!) during thunderstorms – and all it will take for your children to be this way as well is for you to follow these easy tips!

Tips For Building A Privacy Fence
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
It might not be a big deal to you whether or not you have a privacy fence around your backyard if you are close friends with your neighbors, or if you have a lot of land around your backyard, but for those whose neighbors' houses are close, or for those who are not close with their neighbors, a privacy fence is practically a must! After all, it is no fun to try lounging and relaxing in your backyard if you know that people in the houses around you are able to see everything you do; at the same time, however, there is more to building a privacy fence than simply buying some wood and nailing it together! The first thing you need to realize is that - although you will be the one building it, and it may even be on your land completely - a privacy fence has to be agreed upon by both neighbors, rather than being a decision made and executed by one, as both neighbors will have to look at the privacy fence every day! If you have talked to your neighbors and made sure they are okay with you going ahead and erecting a privacy fence (and who knows - you might even be able to get some money out of them as well!), it will also be important that you do not cut corners in constructing the fence, as this can put you in an undesirable position down the road. And if you find yourself asking what you need to do in order to make sure you are not cutting corners, this is a sure sign that you need to do a bit of research before you start building; take the time to do some research before you begin to build, and this will make a big difference in how things turn out in the long run. By keeping all these things in mind, you should be able to build a privacy fence around your backyard, without upsetting your neighbors, and without spending more time and money on it than you should have to!

How To Avoid Bears While Hiking Or Camping
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
You might have found yourself in a place lately where a brief escape from your everyday life sounds like a good idea. You might be wanting to plan a trip to hike for a few days and camp along the way, enjoying nature to its fullest. After all, you cannot just set up a tent on a campsite, close to the road and to running water - that won't do at all! You need to get off the beaten path, journeying out into the unknown. The only problem with this plan, however, is that you would like to avoid bears if you can, and "off the beaten path" is generally where bears live. Because it is better to learn how to avoid bears by reading about it instead of learning through trial and error, here are a few tips for avoiding bears when you embark upon your great adventure. Ask questions: You will be able to find park rangers or guides wherever you are going, and these individuals will know better than anyone else what spots you should aim to avoid. After all, if anyone is going to know, it will be these experts. Create noise while you are hiking: You probably want to avoid doing anything that bears hate, and one thing that bears hate is being startled! If you are taking this journey with a friend, try to keep your conversations loud. If you are not traveling with a friend, consider tying a couple bells to your backpack, so that you will announce your arrival just by walking. Keep your eyes open: Look for signs that say you might be in a bear's territory. These signs might be bear droppings, or else might be trees with the bark rubbed off. If you come across these signs, it is time to think about picking a new area to travel through. Stay odor free: While your daily existence entails staying odor free in regards to sweat, life in the wilderness entails maintaining an odor free campsite. You can avoid inviting bears to your campsite by cooking foods that are mostly odor free, by never leaving food out, and by never, ever bringing any food inside your tent with you. Your great wilderness escape could be one of the greatest memories of your life; just make sure you set yourself up for life to continue after it is over!

Looking At Great Places To Stay In A Cabin
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
To some people, the only thing they think of when thinking of a relaxing getaway is something luxurious - probably with tropical drinks and a calm, warm ocean – but for many others, escaping from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and spending a few days in a cabin in the woods, is about as close to relaxation as they could possibly get; if you fall into the second category, and are thinking you may want to take a “cabin getaway” sometime soon, here are some great regions of the country for you to keep in mind. New Hampshire: the White Mountains of New Hampshire are not nearly as famous as the Rockies out West, but this does not mean that the White Mountains lack the beauty you will find in other parts of the country; renting a cabin in the White Mountains of New Hampshire will give you gorgeous scenery – especially in the fall – and will put you near beautiful rivers, the Atlantic Ocean, the city of Boston, and the rustic scenery of New England.
Colorado: of course, the Rockies of Colorado are the first thing that comes to mind when most people think of staying in a cabin in the mountains, and there is a good reason for this; with a cabin in the Rockies, you will have the chance to sink into the majesty of the Rocky Mountains, with fresh air and grand views all around you, and can still be close enough to the buzz of life in such places as Colorado Springs, Denver, and Boulder to be able to descend from your cabin and be around people for a time if you would like. And if being in a place that is as untouched by man as you will find in America is your idea of the perfect cabin getaway, you will probably want to visit Oregon, where you can find great cabins in the majestic forests of the Pacific Northwest, and even though you will still be close to such places as Portland and Seattle, you will be about as far away from it all as you could possibly hope to be. If you have been feeling that an escape from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life is exactly what you need, and that a cabin getaway is just what the doctor ordered for you, keep these places in mind, and find the one that is right for you!

Coffee Makers: A Comparison
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
For many of us, our morning cup of coffee - brewed just the way we like it - is a necessity for beginning our day. Maybe you stop at a coffee shop such as Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts each morning on your way into work. Or, you might just be a home-brewer of coffee. Brewing coffee at home not only can save you money, but - believe it or not - it can also give you a better cup of coffee than you can get anywhere else. Once you learn the finer points of coffee brewing, you can make your homemade coffee fit your desired tastes exactly, which will provide you with the perfect up of coffee each morning while also keeping money in your pocket. Of course, there are a number of elements that contribute to good coffee, but one of the most important of these elements is the coffee maker you choose to use. On the lower end of the prices, there is the Mr Coffee, which sells for as low as about $20 at such stores as Walmart. This coffee maker is serviceable and dependable, and even if the coffee it makes will not blow you away, it is a high quality option for the price. In the middle range of coffee makers is the Cuisinart brand, whose coffee makers generally run from the low $100s to the high $100s. These self-grinding coffee makers make a very good cup of coffee. While some feel that the Cuisinart models cost more than they should, you will definitely have the tools for a good cup of homemade coffee if you can swallow the price. The Tassimo coffee makers are generally priced in about the same range as the Cuisinart coffee makers, but the big difference is in the necessity for ensuing purchases. While you can buy any beans you desire for a Cuisinart coffee maker, Tassimo coffee makers brew single cups from specialized Tassimo coffee T Discs. This restricts the Tassimo to making coffee that comes in T Discs, and while the taste of Tassimo coffee is nearly unrivaled, the cost of T Discs is much greater than the cost of regular coffee beans. Consider purchasing a Tassimo if you hope to become a true connoisseur of coffee, and if the cost of a Tassimo will not hold you back - after all, in the long run, you will still spend less money than you do at Starbucks! And you can always go with something more simple, such as the Mr Coffee or the Cuisinart, if you are not wanting to take things quite so seriously. In this way, you can make coffee to your specific tastes while also saving money. Tassimo Coffee Maker

Reading Different Kinds Of Books
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Reading is one of the best ways that you can spend your time, as it is relaxing, enjoyable, and most of all productive, but one thing that many people do with reading (that is, one mistake many people make with reading) is that many people get stuck in a “rut” as far as exactly what they are reading. Of course, there are definitely good things about every different kind of reading (yes, this even includes reading simply for entertainment!), but it is far more valuable to read lots of different kinds of books than to simply find one that you feel is “best” and to stick with that one for eternity! For lots of the people who feel that there is only “one right way” to read, nonfiction books are – to their minds – the only way to go; of course, nonfiction books can certainly be wonderful, and they can absolutely help you see the world in a different way, and can of course help you learn about new things you may not have known before, but in addition to nonfiction books, it is also wonderful to read books of an instructional manner; by reading such books, you can not only learn new things about the world, but can also learn new things that will help you directly in your life itself. And of course, there is the option of fiction reading; some people avoid fiction reading altogether, deeming it a waste of time, but many of these same people will spend time watching movies or watching television. While there is nothing wrong at all with watching movies or television, this is not nearly as valuable a use of your time as reading fiction would be; when you read fiction, you not only are able to relax and enjoy yourself for a couple hours, but you are able to do so while also expanding your mind and opening it up to brand-new thoughts!

Exploring Denver, Colorado: Coors Field
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
You do not have to be a baseball fan to enjoy visiting different ballparks in different cities across the country. And if you are the sort of person who enjoys visiting different ballparks (or if you hope to become that sort of person!), there are few ballparks more beautiful to visit than Coors Field.
Coors Field - which was built in 1995, a couple blocks from Union Station in the Lower Downtown neighborhood of Denver - is the home of the Colorado Rockies. As a now-integral part of Denver's gorgeous downtown - and as one of baseball's newer ballparks - Coors Field is certainly a treat.
Despite the fact that Coors Field is relatively large - housing over 50,000 fans - anyone who has been to a game at the ballpark can tell you that there is truly not a bad seat in the house. The ballpark is constructed of beautiful brick, with wide open spaces - which gives it a uniquely "Denver" feel - and the ballpark itself has a uniquely "Colorado" feel, complete with pine trees in the outfield bullpens!
Perhaps the best seat in the house - especially for those who are visiting mostly to experience the ballpark, rather than to view a game - is the Rockpile. The tickets for this section are only $4, and it is situated high above center field. With this unbelievably affordable price, families are able to attend a game at Coors Field without spending tons of money, and these seats will also enable you to watch the sun as it sets over the majestic Rocky Mountains. Additionally, these seats are a great way to see the whole ballpark at once; make sure you purchase tickets early, though, if you want to sit in the Rockpile section! Due to the great price of these seats and the great view these seats afford, they usually sell out far in advance of the actual games. Even if you choose not to buy Rockpile tickets (or even if the Rockpile tickets are sold out!), you can find great prices on seats all throughout Coors Field. If you are looking to experience a new ballpark, keep Coors Field on your list - even if you travel to Denver just to catch a game, it is well worth the trip!

Shopping For Water Purification Tablets
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
There are a lot of times when you can find yourself in need of water purification tablets; camping and hiking are, of course, a couple such times, but so is travel in a foreign country. After all, water that is contaminated or even that is different from what your system is used to can have seriously adverse side effects. When it comes to water purification tablets, there are a lot of options; but also, a lot of these options aren't all they are cracked up to be! Before you ever buy a water purification product, make sure that it actually works; and also, make sure you know all the steps necessary to make it work. One mistake a lot of people make when purchasing water purification tablets is to go with the product that costs the least amount of money. But while you can pick up something like ER Water Purification Tabs for about five dollars, you can also pick up some diseases if your water is not fully purified!
You can buy Military Water Purification Tablets for a pretty good price, and along with these tablets comes the reassurance of the fact that the military trusts them. Just as you should with any water purification method, however, you need to make sure you know exactly how to use these tablets correctly. Part of using this product correctly entails making sure the tablet is completely dissolved, and subsequently straining the water through a bandana or t-shirt to catch any undissolved particles. And this step is extremely important, because undissolved tablets can be just as hazardous to your health as the water you are trying to clean. Another great option for purifying your water is a bottle of Polar Pure Water Disinfectant With Iodine Crystals; while this costs about $20 (compared to just under $10 for Military Water Purification Tablets), it has the advantages of an indefinite shelf life and of being able to purify over 2,000 liters of water! Most other options that you can find come in packs of 30 or 50 tablets, each of which purifies only one liter of water. If you are going somewhere that requires you to have water purification tablets handy, take the time to do your research; it is better to get the right product than to have the effects of bad water!

Wide Receivers You Can Wait On In This Year's Fantasy Football Draft
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
As you enter this year's fantasy football draft, you will want to make sure you not only have a clear idea of what you want to do in the 1st and 2nd rounds, but also of what you want to do in the later rounds; one of the positions that offers the most value in the later rounds is wide receiver, as people tend to rush for running backs and quarterbacks early on, leaving many great wide receivers to be picked up later on! If you are wanting to build a championship fantasy football team, here are a few wide receivers to consider targeting in the later rounds. DeSean Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles finished as the number 1 wide receiver in fantasy football just two years ago; last year, he did not quite replicate that same level of success, but he still finished in the top 10 among wide receivers, and this year he is available as late as the 3rd round in most fantasy football drafts! If you are looking to pick up a wide receiver in the 5th round, one great option to look at is Brandon Marshall of the Miami Dolphins; Brandon Marshall was a top 10 receiver when he played for the Broncos, but last year in his first year with the Dolphins, he dropped off drastically, but this year – with another year under his belt in this offense – he looks ready to have another big season, and he certainly provides great value so late in the draft! And if you are still thinking wide receivers in the 7th round, consider looking at Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers; Steve Smith has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL for several years, and while he has suffered from poor quarterback play over the last couple years, he certainly provides much higher upside than most of the other wide receivers you could take in the 7th round!

How Important Is The SAT?
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
The college entrance exams that students are required to take in high school will be one of the most important steps toward moving from high school to college - and even though such things as grades and college entrance essays are certainly important, there is nothing that colleges weigh more heavily than standardized test scores; of course, the SAT is one of two standardized tests that students can choose to take (the other being the ACT), and you will only need to take one - but it will be important to understand how colleges use these tests, and to know what these tests include, so you will be prepared to take them. Of course, there are a lot of people who complain and say it is unfair for colleges to put so much emphasis on these one-time tests when there are students who have worked so hard for so long in order to keep up good grades - but one thing you must realize about high school grades is that each school's grading standards are different; because of this, it is tough to assess whether all "straight A" students have had an equally difficult course, and it is necessary to have a "standardized" means of judging all applicants to a school. The SAT is comprised of ten separate sections, which each focus on one of three areas - these areas being math, verbal, and writing (if, on the other hand, you are electing to take the ACT, you will face math, verbal, and science); each test includes an essay for students to write - with the essay on the ACT being optional - and although there are deviations from this generalization, most East Coast and West Coast colleges prefer the SAT, and most schools in the heartland prefer the ACT. When it comes to preparing for the SAT (or the ACT), there are lots of things you can do, but the main thing you will want to make sure of is that you have a foundational understanding of all the "concepts" that will be tested, as this will enable you to tackle the content in the problems, regardless of what it is! If you are in high school (or if you have a child in high school), take care of the things you can do to prepare for the standardized tests - and start taking advantage of these things right away!

Staying Cool
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Now that the hot summer days seem to be beginning, we all are looking for ways to cool off. Even though you could hang out in an air-conditioned house all day, it is much nicer to be out enjoying the weather. A gazebo is a great way to do this. This structure can provide you with shade along with a place to sit and drink ice tea on a hot summer day. Ice tea might not suit everyone, their is also adult beverages instead. With the help of a blender and a set of freezable pints, you can keep some cool slushy drinks handy when the weather gets hot. The great part is they can be alcoholic for the adults and non-alchoholic for your kids. There are wide ranges of fruit based drinks that can be great for your kids too. There is a wide range of syrups you can get, from fruity flavors to bubble gum. You can increase your variety of flavors by using coffee syrups as well. If you are looking for other cool treat ideas, ice cream is another favorite. With the correct equipment it is quite easy to make ice cream. You can make ice cream by hand (which is fun for the kids) using rock salt, ice, and freezer bags, or you can purchase an ice cream maker. There are a number of great ice cream makers out there along with a great number of recipes. Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream and Dessert book is a great resource for recipes. This book can also inspire you to create your own favorite flavor recipes. Another great tip is slicing up fruit thinly and freezing it. Both watermelon and grapes are outstanding and refreshing when frozen. Kids love the sweet flavor and the cool temperature. Trying some of these great tips can help to keep your summer nice and cool.

A Few Tips For Little Things To Keep The Planet Healthy
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
If you have the ability to read this, there is one thing you have in common with everyone else reading this - and that is that you depend on Earth for your ability to stay alive! Because of this, it will be extremely important that you are doing the little things you can do to help take care of the planet, and to keep it in a great, healthy condition. One thing you should realize is that a lot of people waste plenty of water every single day - and by making a few simple changes, you can keep from doing this yourself; get in the habit of turning off the water when you brush your teeth, fix leaks and drips in your house, and filter your own water instead of buying bottled water, and you will be doing a lot to help! Another thing you should realize is that you will actually be able to save money as well as the planet by switching the light bulbs you are using; when you use compact fluorescent bulbs, you will use only about 30% of the energy regular bulbs use, and will have light bulbs that last up to ten times longer before you need to replace them! Another little change you can make is to simply start braking more slowly in your car, and accellerating more slowly; in this way, you will save money on gas in the long run, and will use less gas as well! And finally, realize that there is no need to be using electricity for items that are not in use; unplug appliances when you are not using them, and turn off your air conditioner when you leave the house, and the savings and benefits to the planet will both pile up! If you are looking for some things you can do to put the planet in a better place, keep these things in mind - and you will be contributing to the solution, instead of to the problem!

Three Great Ways To Make Money From Home
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
The idea of making money from home is a dream a lot of people have, as they imagine it would be absolutely wonderful if they could set their own hours and work at their own pace, but one thing that many people who dream of this fail to realize is that this is not really a "dream" at all, but is instead quite possible - as long as you know a few things you can look into doing! Simply "starting your own business" is one of the best ways to make money from your home - and while this used to require big startup costs and a physical location, the Internet now makes it easy for you to start your own business from your home; pick out something you enjoy making, set up a shop on eBay or Etsy, and start making some extra money! Another great way to "be your own boss" is to become a contractor, or to do freelance work; while such work used to require you to travel to the location of the company for which you were working, you can now use your special skills and talents to gain work right from the comfort of your own home! And one of the greatest things of all that the Internet makes possible, if you truly want to work on your own time and according to your own motivation, is search engine marketing - where you can make money by simply creating a website, pouring content onto it, climbing up search engine rankings, and making money through the products you plug or the ads on your site! You will certainly still have to "work" in order to make money from home - but when you put yourself in a position where you are working on your own time, and are able to work for no one but yourself, it will make work a whole lot easier, and a whole lot more enjoyable, and you cannot ask for much more than that!

Trying Out Woodburning
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Woord has been used as a medium for art work for years from carving and painting to ornate furniture. Wood burning is another art form that has been forgotten. Sometimes called pyrography or drawing with fire. A wood burner with real experience can put out incredible artwork ranging from detailed wildlife to natural scenes. If you want to add a great touch to your room, wood burned art can make a great addition. The tools you will need for wood burning is fairly simple. You will want to start with a basic woodburning pen. You should also consider purchasing a heat regulator also. A wood-burning pen can only heat up to one temperature. Once it is hot it is very hot. You need a heat regulator to allow you to have more control over the temperature. You may wish to use a lower temperature for very light shading, or hotter temperatures for outlining your work. Someone who is more experienced with wood burning will want to purchase extra tips for their wood-burning pen. This allows you a wider range of techniques to use, each giving a different look to the wood. Many people use wood burning to enhance the detail of carving such as duck decoys, and relief carvings. If you want to learn more I recommend looking into purchasing a book like Pyrography Workbook. This book provides some great hints on helping you along the way along with step by step instructions. Also the pictures you find in this book will inspire you to try a hand at wood burning. Sue Walters is a great wood burning artist and the pictures are wonderful. If you don't want to invest in a ton of blades like wood carving requires and don't have room for a lathe or jig saw, a wood burning set could be right for you.

Freeing Up Extra Money For Yourself
The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Many people often find themselves complaining that their money situation is extraordinarily tight, and a lot of people who complain about this even find that the problem is not solved if they pick up an extra job or work more hours at their current job; of course, those who face this situation tend to never take a long, hard look at their spending habits to see what they can change, but were they to take a close look at their finances they would find that there are actually a lot of places where they can change their spending habits and free up a lot more money for the things they truly enjoy. One of the biggest costs for many people is clothes, and while clothes are certainly necessary, they do not have to be a big-ticket item; rather than trying to keep up with all of the trends and latest fashions, realize that you will actually be able to save a lot of money if you simply stick with the classic look that will continue to look good on you year after year. Food is another place where you will be able to save a lot of money, and as is the case with clothing, the fact that it is a necessity does not mean that it has to be a big cost; start getting in the habit of cooking your food at home instead of eating out, and keep these meals simple and healthy, as this will not only save you money but will also help you to feel a whole lot better. And another place where a lot of money goes for many people is gym memberships, or other memberships that these people hardly ever use; while something such as going to the gym is certainly good for you, as it will help you to be healthy and stay in shape, realize that you can work out and stay in shape at your own home or outdoors just as easily as you can at the gym - while saving a lot of money! When you start making small changes to your spending habits, you will be able to start having more money for the things you enjoy - and will not need to pick up a second job or work extra hours in order to do so!
