Sometimes, it can be difficult to figure out exactly what movie you should watch when you have a lot of choices, or what book you want to purchase when you are browsing through the bookstore, or what new CD will make you happy to buy, and one of the reasons why it can be difficult to decide at times is because there are so many choices! And while there will be plenty of factors that will determine exactly what you will and will not enjoy when it comes to movies, books, and music, one of the easiest ways for you to break down your choices is to distinguish between Art and Entertainment - and before you can distinguish between the two, of course, you need to understand the difference! If you have ever wondered what the point of a movie is if it is not entertaining, you might also have found that you almost never agree with what critics say about different movies - and this can make it much easier for you to figure out which movies you are more likely to enjoy. While it might seem like there is not point to a movie if it is not entertaining, many people actually enjoy "art" movies - movies that are perhaps made on a lower budget, without special effects and chase scenes; movies that cause the viewer to think, and to explore issues that are greater than their own self. The first thing you will need to realize is that you will have to keep your Russian tortoise's tank heated, but it is not a good idea to use a floor heater in their tank, as this can actually end up burning their feet and belly; instead, you should use a heat lamp, and you should also make sure you give your Russian tortoise a place in their tank where they can hide away from the light when they want to sleep. A Russian tortoise does not require a lot of food or water, but because of this, a lot of people end up changing out their food and water less frequently than they should; even though your Russian tortoise will not drink much, you should change out their water every day - and even when they leave a lot of the lettuce you have put in their tank uneaten, you should throw out the old lettuce each day and give them fresh lettuce to munch on (feeding and watering them every day - just as you would with a more demanding pet!). Another mistake a lot of people make with their Russian tortoise is that they fail to clean out the mulch at the bottom of the tank as often as they should. Even though your Russian tortoise will not do much to dirty up the mulch, you should not go months at a time without changing it, as this will not be healthy for them; instead, change out their mulch about once per month - and once you keep these simple things in mind, you will be safe in the knowledge that you are taking proper care of your Russian tortoise!

If you live just about anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains, it is surely no secret to you that most of the country has been going through one of the heaviest heat waves on record, and there is no end in sight right now - and while this means many different things for different people, one thing this means for just about everyone is that it is not easy for them to keep their lawn alive! Of course, you will have to force yourself to be at least a little bit resigned with this heat wave, realizing that you will not be able to keep your lawn as lush as you usually like to keep it - but this does not mean that you have to allow your lawn to die; you simply have to know the right steps to take! First of all, you will have to give your lawn water if you want it to survive this heat, but while you can usually get away with watering at the wrong time of day when it is not so hot, you will be in trouble if you try to water at the wrong time of day right now; the roots of your grass grow during the day, and because of this, early morning is the best time for you to water! While the roots of your grass will grow during the day, the grass itself will grow at night, so if you have spots in your yard that seem like they are not doing well no matter how much water you are giving them in the morning, try to give them some extra water at night. And finally, realize that while you certainly will not want your grass to die, grass can be regrown far more easily than shrubs and trees - so as much as you focus on your grass, make sure you are focusing on your shrubs and trees that much more! Maybe their idea is for a self-help book that will help to change the world, or even for a cookbook that will light the culinary world on fire. As these people write, they are alone, their world is quiet, and the journey is long. Once this portion of the journey ends, they are ready to celebrate! Well, the first thing you should know is that the solo portion of the journey is not finished at the end of the writing. Upon the successful completion of this step, it is time for you to move on to the most difficult step of all: waiting. Lots and lots of waiting! It's not easy to get your book into bookstores; in fact, writing the actual book might be the easiest part. But if you can have patience and persevere all the way to the finish line, you will achieve something great, something that you can be proud of the rest of your life.
