The second season of the show is currently in progress but viewers can buy the first season on DVD today. The show follows a variety of people throughout their working inside of the swamp. A majority of the activity involves the hunting of alligators. There is a month long alligator season inside the bayous of Louisiana. Alligator hunters are given tags that they can fill throughout the month. After they are caught the alligators are sold at market. A few teams of alligator hunters throughout the season are followed by this show. The show also explores other aspects of life in the swamp.
