What It Takes to Win the Ultimate Professional Sports Championship

The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
One of the most popular forms of entertainment throughout the world is professional sports. Depending on where you are in the world some pro sports will be more popular than others. In South America and Europe soccer is definitely king. Those who live in Hawaii love professional surfing. The most popular sport in Japan and the US for a long time running is baseball. All of these sports offer their own form of championships and some are generally thought to be easier to win than others. The one that offers the hardest trophy to win is the most popular sport in Canada, which is also very popular in the United States and Europe.

Hockey was born in Canada and is now loved in most cold weather cities. The highest level of hockey is played in the NHL. This league consists of teams spread throughout the United States and Canada. This league is where the best players in the world travel to play. Every spring the NHL starts the Stanley Cup Playoffs to determine a champion for their league. The physical abilities of all the participants in these playoffs are pushed to the absolute limit. The Stanley Cup cannot be won unless the mental strength and physical strength of each player is expended.

Winning the Stanley Cup brings happiness to the players that they feel is never matched again. This trophy cannot be matched in terms of uniqueness. There is only one Stanley Cup; no other major trophy is only made once. This makes it even more special to win, knowing that only a select few people actually get to have their names engraved on it. Starting in the early 1990’s a tradition began that allowed each winner to spend an entire day with the trophy as well. Once again the effort needed to win this championship will be seen this June when a new champion gets crowned.
