Classic Books Your Children Will Love

The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
Classic books transcend time and these books are the ones you must read to your children because the story appeals to every generation. It really is important to share these works of art with our children. Your children will appreciate the bonding time with you along with the outstaning story.

The Phantom Tollbooth is an outstanding book by Norton Juster. Young children love the adventure that Milo goes on while older children will begin to understand and enjoy the word play that occurs through out the entire book. You will be introduced to Tock the watch dog and the which who is not a witch. Every child should have this book read to them out loud at some point during their young life.

Another great book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is part of a larger series of books called The Chronicals Of Narnia. Though this book is heavy in Christian values it is not too in your face. Though the Christian theme is there, it isn't offensive in any mannor.  Children will find this book to simply be an epic tale with mythical creatures and an evil witch. This book is a classic and children love to use their imagination to follow children their own age through this great land. The characters are rich and easy to enjoy.

A Wrinkle in Time is part of series writing by Madeleine L&rsquo. This is about a teenage girl who doesn’t exactly fit in and has low self-esteem. Meg ultimately saves her father as she solves problems through this book inspite of her low feelings about herself. Unlike the other books listed before, this book is science heavy but it is still understandable. Children who may enjoy the sci fi niche may greatly enjoy this book.

This is just three of many books that are well worth reading. The Golden Compass, Ramona the pest, and Little House on the Prairie are all books that are well worth reading also. Think back to the books you loved as a child, odds are your children or the children in your life will also enjoy the same books.
