The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
If you have a Netflix account and also own a Wii, you might be wondering how you can marry these two magical realms of technology to watch live, streaming video from Netflix on your Wii. When you take just a few easy steps, Netflix makes it very easy for you access thousands of live, streaming videos on your television, right through your Wii! The first thing you will need to do is go onto your Netflix account on your computer and ask for a "Streaming Disc"; this is a disc they will send you that you can put into your Wii, and once your Wii has collected the information from the disc, it will be able to play streaming videos from Netflix. If you also own other gaming consoles - such as the Playstation 3 or the XBox - the streaming disc will work for these as well, and since you can keep the disc, you will have it in case you need it again, or in case you decide to change primary gaming consoles down the road. Once you have uploaded the content from the disc to your Wii, you will simply need to check your internet connection to firstly make sure it works, and to secondly make sure it is fast enough to play live, streaming videos; the optimal speed for your internet to reach is 3 Mbps, but you will be able to get it to work (at a lower quality of video) at about 2 Mbps. Once you have reached this point, the only other things you will need to do is input your account information and start browsing through your favorite videos on Netflix! You may need to use your computer to set up your "Play Now" queue in order to make it easy to access the videos you want to access (the search feature on the Wii-Netflix combo is not a high point), but with your "Play Now" queue set up from your computer, you will be able to access everything on your television!
