It is Easy to Grow Strawberries.

The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
You typicall begin seeing strawberries show up in the springtime of the year. Even though they smell wonderful you are most likely disappointed by the lack of flavor when you bit into them. It can be such a let down when your nose says they are wonderful but your mouth finds them not so impressive. Growing your own is a very simple solution to this. It doesn’t necessarily take a ton of room to do this but clearly the more room you have the more strawberries you can get.

One important step to do before you buy some is learn how to properly grow them. It isn’t too hard but having a base knowledge is always a good thing. Grow the best Strawberries is a great book to learn a ton of tips and tricks to growing strawberries.

There are two types of strawberries, June bering and ever bearing Ever bearing strawberries bloom multiple times a season, allowing you strawberries throughout the summer. June bearning berries bloom one time a season. So the question would be why would you select June bearers? They are generally a larger berry than ever bearing.

Strawberries are nice because they don't require a ton of room to grow. If you have a small patio you can purchase a few stackable planters that will hold twenty or more plants in a very small area. Ever bearers would work great since they don't send out a lot of runners. A pyramid garden is a great way to go with June bearers. Since they send out a ton of runners they can populate an entire pyramid planter in a few years.

Once you begin growing your own strawberries you may have more then you can use when they are ripe. You have a few options at this point. You can freeze them or possibly make them into a jelly. Canning kits for jelly are fairly inexpensive and making jelly is very easy to learn. There are a number of recipes online to help with this.
