For the most part, one of the main reasons people go on vacation is because they need to unwind and relax for a bit, but one mistake many people make in their efforts to unwind and relax is that they end up sleeping so much on their vacation that they hardly get anything out of it – and furthermore, because they have been giving their body more sleep than it is used to, they end up feeling sluggish all throughout the vacation, and this carries over into their everyday lives, which makes the vacation a whole lot less valuable than they intended it to be! The first thing you should realize when it comes to staying active on vacation is that keeping something of a normal schedule will actually help you get a lot more out of your vacation than you would otherwise get; you should not take this to mean that you cannot sleep in at all, but you should try to minimize the amount of extra sleep you are getting, which will keep you much more energized during your vacation – and will also keep you much more energized when you return from vacation.
